This is false. The gospels has been attributed by the early church fathers to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Saying that the authors are unknown is just incorrect.

lots of problems with this argument 🔴Firstly scholars dont all agree that the gospels weren't written by their attributed authors, they simply just agree that the orginal texts were anonymous. But remember being anonymous does not mean that the attributed authors couldn't have written it. If anything its very plausible that they did write it as mark and luke are said to be educated greek writers and matthew being a roman tax collector wouldve been familiar with greek writting as well. 🔴 Secondly the evidence for the undisputed letters not belonging to paul is very weak and hence why its very debated in scholarly circles. The argument that the disputed letters have a different "style and theology" are all arguments that can be easily explained as being written to a different audience, developing style , using different scribe etc. not to mention all the similarities between pauls undisputed and disputed letters that should also be taken account for. 🔴 Lastly as for peters letters , the argument that a fisherman couldn't have written these greek letters is a good argument, except for the fact that peter didnt write them. he used a greek scribe to write them for him and even admits to using one in 1st peter. so that solves that argument as ancient authors who couldnt write in a language often had a scribe to write and translate it for them. its possible john couldve used a scribe as well

Mark the Evangalist, follower/interpreter of apostle Peter, probably did write the first gospel simply because he knew Greek, he knew the apostles and he was still alive when the gospel of Mark was written. Matthew and Luke are indeed later copies of Mark, and not written by named authors ...

I find that Ephesians and Colossians are consistent with 1 and 2 Corinthians. The Timothy and Titus letters are totally different.

Well people can debate who really wrote the gospels all they want. But one thing is for certain. The gospels are written according to their eye witnesses. It’s possible that unknown scribes wrote them. But scribes are people who get paid to write historical accounts. Jesus said he would send scribes. So it possible that unknown scribes wrote the gospels but Matthew, mark, Luke and John would still be the authors. Because it’s their eye witness account.
