Just to be clear, those hairs don’t turn into roots. 😏 Roots can grow out of the stem though.

it rained for a week and two of my plants developed roots on the stem. i dug a trench and buried it and they’re growing straight up correctly now.

Have you done this and it be successful? I have so many that have them. I planted like 20 tomatoes plants (first timer and didn’t think about this at first lol) and majority of not all have plenty of these lol
