they also prefer to be watered at the base, their leaves dont like to get wet! one of the most drama queen plants ive ever grown lol

Just to be clear, those hairs don’t turn into roots. 😏 Roots can grow out of the stem though.

it rained for a week and two of my plants developed roots on the stem. i dug a trench and buried it and they’re growing straight up correctly now.

Have you done this and it be successful? I have so many that have them. I planted like 20 tomatoes plants (first timer and didn’t think about this at first lol) and majority of not all have plenty of these lol
