What do you mean you’ve been a charisma teacher for 14 years? What does that entail?

Honest question. What do you find interesting about teaching charisma?

The economy of words has a poor payoff here. He said “be curious and ask questions”.

Agree. I like to ask “oh how did you come to do that/ start doing that?” Or “how did you decide you wanted to do that?”

I completely agree. I was talking to someone about rock climbing and how it wasn’t something I would try. He followed up with, “Why? What’s stopping you?” It left an impression due to his level of curiosity in wanting to understand. It felt nice

This is good but, “tell me more about that,” is my favorite follow up for literally any conversation. But none of it works if you don’t have active listening skills.

yep ask probing questions. but if someone asked me what I like about hiking...I would feel attacked lol. it's got to be less obvious. don't make the other person do all the heavy lifting or else it's pretty transparent you're mining for info
