I really wanted this to work, but I have to warn everyone — I spent 16 hours trying to set this up over two days. OpenClaw was completely broken from the start. Then I tried CrewAI and it was a nightmare — constant dependency errors, config files not found, and it kept defaulting to OpenAI even when I tried forcing Grok. Switched to using Grok and Claude directly through LangChain and still got hit with invalid API key errors and “model not found” errors. Nothing ran smoothly. This is not beginner friendly at all. It’s extremely unstable and way more complicated than it should be. Save yourself the pain and skip this one.

Hey, I need help designing an AI automation system for my Amazon business. I’m trying to decide between using one powerful AI agent like Hermes to handle everything, or using a multi-agent system like OpenClaw with different agents for tasks like product research, emails, inventory, and analysis. Could Hermes work as the main brain supervising other agents, or would it be better to just use one system? Looking for advice from someone experienced with AI agents.
