I will say one of my favorite memories as a kid was putting the hose or sprinklers or just soap in general on my trampoline If you want to try that, I definitely think you’re kids Might enjoy it.

Me and my cousins would put blankets and stuff on top of there trampoline and we’d sleep out there! There parents would decorate with all sorts of lights and got us a cooler and a basket for toys and coloring stuff!

Genuine question I don’t have kids but I live in Arizona and summers are ROUGH; I have no idea how I’ll limit screens when I have them, because it can be dangerous for kids to be outside for long periods of time.

The summers in my childhood my stepmom had us outside from 10am to noon, came in for lunch, and after lunch you could either go back outside till snack time or take a nap, then after snack time we were allowed to stay outside or read a book. As kids most of the time we picked playing outside and I’m so glad that I spent so much time outside as a kid lol

Love this! The other thing I did in the summer when it was scorching hot and too hot to be outside was read. I was very blessed to have a love of books and reading instilled in me from a young age.

Love this. I'm going to do the same thing when I'm a mom one day. Because when I was a kid I'd be outside from sunrise to sunset. My dad had to make me go home to eat dinner.

On the days my kid is with me she’s outside for hours. On Saturday she will literally be outside for 9+ hours and I have to drag her inside to eat
