I’ve always liked Quaquaval if you actually took the time to use it in a play through you’ll find it. It’s really good. It’s water fighting typing is really good It’s the same typing as Urshifu the Pokémon everyone loves the glaze also quaquaval’s hidden ability is Moxie what is genuinely not to like “ oh no, my steak is too juicy” “my lobster is too buttery”

i actually love primarina, it’s a top 3 water starter for me potentially top 1, i just don’t like inteleon and quaquavals designs mainly due to proportions. i like a lot of flamboyant pokemon like oricorio for example

Also, primirina is my favourite starter, doesn’t have “aura” that has lost all meaning, the James Bond sniper has aura, primirina is so cool and beautiful but not “aura”

Completely agree besides the water starters not being good to begin with part piplup and mudkip lines are up there with charmander line if not better, no hate on greninja or primarina either but marshtomp clears type wise and aurawise
