the lines are the quarters. When the level of Liberty is on the numbers that's how much is left. so when your at the line under 300 it would be 275 not 300 left in the tote

I just make a ruler out of cardboard or what have you. Measure the distance between 100L then take that measurement and multiply by 2.92 for you and mark a stick or cardboard (or grainbag ruler if you have one leftover) and use that guide from level of liquid to your calculated length and mark it there.

You are exactly correct about those stupid markings. We use a tape measure and a marker. We get three loads out of a tote so we mark it into thirds and go.

Get yourself a ruler. For every inch of chemicals used from a tote is 7 1/2 gallons of chemicals used.
