Let's get something straight, every other race gets the privilege to be "an individual" and not a monolith within their race/community 😒 However, Black people do not get that privilege as we are always viewed as a monolith by other races 😒 It's okay for you all to do it to us but not okay when it is done to you all😒 We are sick of you all expecting us to continue to turn the other cheek or be the bigger person ALL THE FUCKING TIME WHEN WE ARE MISTREATED!!! No amount of "individualizing Rick Chow" or reverse psychology (Black people (monolithing) you are now acting evil to innocent people and don't patronize me "I get it", cause you are individualizing yourself cause the question is, does your community as whole get it or want to get it😒) by giving folks a taste of their own medicine is going to take away the fact that you all see us as monolith rather you admit it consciously outloud or unconsciously not out loud 😒

Anti-Blackness in Asian communities has been going on for too long. Even Nasteha black dolls Im china etc.. Even here in Norway, i see it. Black Americans have every right to question what's happening in their communitiesliquor stores, nail salons, restaurants, beauty supply stores, and who benefits from them. These conversations didn't come out of nowhere. For years, concerns about racism, disrespect, and exploitation have been brushed aside instead of addressed.

I agree with you. No one should prank call businesses. However, many Asians think it’s about the incident, but the truth is it’s years of bad experiences with these businesses. Now the movement is to support our own businesses. There was an Asian man that put out the challenge to boycott Asian businesses and many Black people heard it and said challenge accepted.

I actually do understand your point. I do know that some foolish people in our community has given some Asians businesses a hard time I am not agreeing with their behaviorr. However, I also recognize my experience, my family members experiences and some friends mistreatment by the Asian community, and we are very open, loving peoplle. Every community has bad apples… that’s the point. Many of us who are more enlightened have decided to use this opportunity for self empowerment. Still got love for the Asian community. You have to see the video of the man that challenged the community to boycott. He was truly a bigger stimulus for many people. I am hoping you will understand this is not about hating Asians, it’s about helping ourselves. I hope this helps. There are still many hateful videos out here towards Black people from your community. My mother’ dad is Black and Chinese. During Covid my brother’s were committed to physically fight anyone attacking Asians (they are very big guys) but they were still mistreated in stores for no reason by Asian people. It is always painful when one is mistreated without provocation. I will address those who harm because that is the point. Just know that many are not anti-Asian we are just pro-Black.

Boycotting isn’t the problem but it’s the generalization and blame for the whole Asian community as a whole for a NOT GUILTY verdict which was given by a jury who were majority BLACK. See the the problem

now I'm going to give my two cents as someone wholely outside both groups in a sense . there's a nuance to the conversation because no they aren't doing this just in response to one guy they are doing this after seeing the anti blackness to which u and a bunch of us knows it exists within the Asian community u cannot want their money but don't respect them and not want to make money from the community but not be involved in the community. be the first to shout let's get rid of DEI because u believed the perception that black ppl were stealing spaces that Asians believed they were entitled to. mind u ALOT of asians gave NO fucks about BLM were pro all lives matter until those same white ppl started attacking them then it was well let's stop asian hate. but the videos used to galvanize the movement was a few black ppl following maga never the maga white ppl that where the majority.
