Does anyone else have this thing where you’ll see a number like 74 but you go to say it out loud and it comes out as 47 even though you know it says 74??

Idk whats wrong with me but I will read a word and then check it again and it’s actually a completely different word if that makes sense?? Like I’m just wrong. And mushing sentences from different lines together. Or I read numbers out loud and the numbers I am saying are not in the order that they are in front of me. I see them fine, I just say them backwards.

I spell simple words wrong if I’m not taking my time, it’s hard for me to read out loud, I say numbers backwards, I can look at a word that I know and suddenly that word doesn’t make sense and I have trouble with my left and right. No floaty letters and numbers. I just have to slow down and repeat things until I get it right. Dyslexia is weird and it shows differently for everyone. Some people experience the same issues but it’s never a one size fits all.

Glowing word, rivers between words, similar letter appearance confusion, reading and writing issues, eye strain, migraines, and Vowel team confusion are some of thing I experience and I have been told on more then one occasion that I am making it up.

guys idk if I'm disylexic but sometimes when I see words like "vehicles" as a example I read it as "cars" instead and it's automatic and even if someone corrects me when I read it again I read it as the simplified form of the word still

Can someone get diagnosed at 23? I am starting to notice that it’s getting worse in a graduate program and I realized growing up I just avoid and adapted with the symptoms

I have a hard time with phone numbers. Like for example if someone has 233 in their phone number and I need to repeat it by typing - I'll type 322 even if I know I heard it correctly

I was diagnosed a few years ago only, but my whole life me, and my friend noticed that something is abnormal. For example, when I’m reading, I can read the word correctly in my mind, but out loud I’m saying a totally different word. And I don’t know why, but I’m getting confused with the numbers 4 and 7.

It’s kinda easy having it because it’s just normal, I remember in year 3 a teacher told me that I probably saw the words move around and I felt like I was faking because I didn’t see that

I just had to describe this to my therapist today.... she knew what central auditory processing disorder was, so I said for me it is similar to that, but with reading instead of hearing... I see the words, but they don't always make sense.

I am dyslexic in English, auto typing is my saviour. I am good at writing and reading in my native tongue, but when it comes to English, I make mistakes with simplest words and can never remember the order of letters in certain words, but I can read just fine unless those are words that are too complex or those I've never heard of. I think it's possible to fix with persistent exercise
