@onlyinmoonlight: It's necessary that kids, especially those who experience bullying or isolation, are loved once they return home. For Chiron however, his home is not a source of comfort because of his mother's addiction. It is only after he crosses paths with Juan and Teresa that he begins to learn what love and care feel like. The two share a meal with Chiron and offer him a place to stay, away from his neglectful home. They also allow him a safe space to ask questions about his sexuality and identity without judgement. While many children are not fortunate enough to receive this level of support, Juan and Teresa’s relationship with Chiron reflects what should be the standard for parents and caregivers. Raising a child requires a commitment to unconditional love and children should never have to earn the acceptance of the people meant to care for them. #moonlight #babylove #orit #fypシ #movieedits
