Now that there’s 12 million people commenting and watching…. 👋🏼 If you want to know exactly what’s happened from start to finish, read the caption on my latest reel. what’s really on my heart to share today is that… This isn’t a “me vs them” thing… yes, it’s been very hard to advocate for myself. 39 weeks tomorrow!😍 And I am so grateful for all the Twin moms who went before me who allowed their bodies to go into labor spontaneously. Their strength and courage has given me strength and courage. I have learned sooooo much throughout this process. I have listened to hundreds of podcasts read studies spoken to COUNTLESS moms inside and outside of the medical system who actually gave birth to twins. I’ve learned about real physiological birth from educators who dedicate their lives to this stuff. Who put their ego to the side and share authentically despite getting so much backlash. Who trust women’s bodies and innate wisdom. Who follow Jesus Christ and know that god made our bodies for birth. We aren’t broken. @painfreebirth @twinhomebirth @birthinginstincts @ajoyfulbirth @christianhypnobirthing and so many more! I have had millions of people watching and of course that means hundreds of comments. I am astonished at all of the comments saying that I am doing something wrong by Just letting my babies stay in me until they decide they’re ready to come out. This is not a wild pregnancy. I have not said anything controversial yet people have been coming down on me left and right saying that I need to just listen to the doctors. Meanwhile, every single test that my babies have gone through they have scored 100%. There’s absolutely no reason to take them out right now and finally after arguing with my OB for weeks and declining inductions she said she is so impressed by me and how far we’ve made it. I am 100% convinced that the medical system has never seen twins go to term. A nurse actually told me that the other day. She said she’s never seen a Twin pregnancy Go past 36 weeks!
