Also if you watch someone else use the blade you can see that their empty hand is held behind their back like in the drawing you showed. Fatshark does good work with their melee combat.

darktide is so peak, if you haven’t tried it yet get it next time it’s on sale. Can be a bit rough when you’re starting out but once you get some levels and good gear it’s incredibly fun
