Brother, if the open bridge feels better, do it 😂 just work on it so that it works for you not against you. Watch a video of this guy named Efren Reyes and try to copy what he does 😂 Hitting the balls a little softer in general will also give you a lot more feedback from each shot, therefore giving you more opportunities to learn from your misses. And don’t forget to just have fun playing the game too 😁

I’d work on making the ball rather than where the cue ball ends up at your level brother. Better to be on the table than missing every ball

So english is all about speed not power, the harder you hit the ball, the more accuracy you sacrifice, look at the way the pros and local players that are really good play, very rarely are we hitting anything but the break with any sort of power, and you can hear it on the way the cue ball contacts the object ball

Something that helped me a bit was learning to bridge on the rail when the cue ball is close to but not touching the rail. You just tuck your thumb like your making a 4 with your hand and then stick your need finger over the top of your cue. Just a thought
