It doesn't have to be the same experience. No, I didn't have anyone die at my hands. But I did pretty much lose people (family) WHO ARE VERY MUCH ALIVE due to their infidelity that led me to a life where I have to survive. Levi is a man who still strives despite every sadness he went through, he's fighting and surviving. And I think it's the same for me. I'm not as strong as him but I like him for being such a well written character.

It may not be the same, but we still lost important people in our life. and because I lost my best friend, and have failed her, I've grown distant to people around me, having this mindset that they'll leave me eventually. so, yeah. I do relate to Levi in some sense. (and it doesn't help that I'm shorter than him)

actually, yeah. deeply. on most fronts. that’s why it’s my comfort show. but to preserve the “comfort” factor, and to not unwravel what i’ve spent years healing/coping with, i relate to his trauma quietly, and stay in the fun/light/silly gear publicly. just because someone isn’t testifying about their grief doesn’t mean they aren’t carrying it.
