@careers.with.oprah: stepped away to eat lunch today. not to be rude, i was fully delivering — getting my tasks done, hitting deadlines, and staying on top of my projects. just needed to literally eat food to survive. i checked my inbox… and my manager sent me THIS email. that’s the part that’s getting me. like it wasn’t just a quick “hey, we need all hands on deck for this escalation right now” — it turned into a whole passive-aggressive rant mocking my "biological urge to eat" and accusing me of abandoning the team to pursue "sandwiches and personal restoration." when i auto applied through sprout it never said eating a meal during the workday was "unbelievable behavior"… whatever. i get that there are active escalations. i get that clients are waiting. but does it really need to escalate to making me feel guilty for literally just consuming food? it’s weird how meeting a basic human need turns into a massive “concern” about my judgment. i’m doing my job. i showed up. i contributed. idk… feels less about collaboration and more about control. should i go back to sprout? #fyp #movingon #manager #career #job
