Per FIFA rules the stadiums they use cannot be brand affiliated so for the meantime the stadium is not Levi stadium it is San Francisco Stadium

I didn’t know Levi’s wasn’t a sponsor and that’s stupid they should have sponsored when they have the 49ers stadium that has there name on it being used they would get some money out of it with that advertisement.

FIFA's strict 🥴"clean stadium"🥴 policy requires all venues during the FIFA World Cup to remove or cover corporate branding from non-tournament sponsors. Because Levi's is not an official World Cup sponsor, their logos were covered, and the stadium was temporarily renamed to San Francisco Bay Area Stadium.

They're covering it not to confuse tourists of which stadium they're at and a lot of them just assume it's San Francisco so for now, they're naming it San Francisco stadium
