@notmysundaybestie01: ‼️😳Freddie Mercury made the famous comment about not wanting to get into heaven during an interview with journalist David Wigg in April 1985. Exactly 2 years later Freddy Mercury was diagnosed with HIV AIDS on April 1987. Freddie Mercury died on November 24, 1991, at the age of 45. The official cause of his death was bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS. The conversation took place in Munich, Germany, while Mercury was promoting his first solo album, Mr. Bad Guy (originally conceived under the working title Made in Heaven). When Wigg asked if Mercury thought he was going to heaven, Mercury replied:”No, I don’t want to. Hell is much better. Look at the interesting people that you’re going to meet down there.” Much like the modern “Pride” celebrations and cultural figures like Freddie Mercury encourage individuals to find their ultimate identity and fulfillment in their homosexuality, Biblical Christianity invites a different path. It teaches that our truest worth is not found in celebrating earthly desires, but in surrendering our identity to Christ, finding lasting peace through humility, and seeking the higher purpose designed for us by our Creator. #pridemonth🏳️🌈 #deception #freddiemercuryqueen
