This takes so much courage you should be so proud!!! I solo travel all the time for work and always feel so self conscious if I go for a meal by myself, I usually just end up staying my hotel and ordering take-aways!😂 This is my sign to get out of my comfort zone when I’m traveling x

Better to try a bar than a club at night. Easier to meet people and less noise. Also of course cafés and restaurants also would recommend walking to plaka ,sitting for a coffee or a bite and then walking up to vraxàkia to see the view (just ALWAYS mind your personal things)

Solo travelling can always be a bit strange at first , it’s normal! Athens right now is full of tourists, other solo travelers etc so I’d recommend checking expat and solo travelers group chats and going to hostel events (yellow square in monastiraki has some great ones). Also as a Greek girl from Athens if you need any recs or help lmk , you’ve got this!

Stay a few days in Athens and find friends and go to Akanthus Summer Club at night. Go for swimming and relax in Bolivar. Go for a food in a traditional taverna. Go for 2 days in an island. There are a lot to do with someone that lives here. Of course money is needed, but fewer than every other country in Europe
