i train for few yrs in Corona time...then i stop for abt 3 yrs.... when i went back to gym after only few weeks my body was looking as it was at that time🥰 so, just train for at least a year to gain muscle memory👌

this is true I stopped traning for like 4-5months and my arm muscle was probably down 60-70% but got back into training and I actually got bigger withing the 1-2month window then I was when I was training for a year. crazy how our body works

Good rule of thumb is our bodies like to be consistent. So to some degree most things have "memory" or want to return to steady state. Muscle comes back easily but also fat comes back easily. The better and longer you can sustain a state the easier it will be to return to that. Or to set a new normal.

so true. I'm hitting the gym for 28 years now. never pro. but it seems more and more that my muscles can't go away. whether I'm going 5 times a week or just 2, pushing hard or not so much because a tendine hurts, whether I take a month of durring sommer or not. muscles always come back fast.

It’s crazy how you use 2 to 3 years gain a good amount of muscle and loss in few months 😏

If you don’t lift for a week or so the first thing to go is inflammation/pump,,, a lot of the time lifting means you’re riding a ‘pump’. To lose actual muscle takes time.

Went to the gym consistently, 5/6 days for 3 years, took 6 years off to focus on my career, . Started back in the gym the end of last year/start of this year, I’m bigger than I was last time, pushing PR’s I never ever got near last time
