(ad)  Peppa Pig’s Surprise Party Metrocentre - Walk Through This is not a cheap activity but I think you can tell from the video that my 3 year old helper Peggy did have lots of fun and said she would recommend it to her friends.  Peggy's highlights were fixing Mr Fox's Bubble Machine, visiting Peppa's House to make pizza, the slide and dancing at the party with all of Peppa’s family.  The experience is split into 3 parts: 1- Train ride to Peppatown. 2 - Spend time in Peppatown completing the birthday tasks and playing (there's also a cafe in here and Peppa's family visit and walk around every 30 mins or so). 3 - The Birthday Party which takes place every 20-30 minutes. The next party time is written on the Greenhouse or you can listen for announcements. When you're ready to leave Peppatown, simply join the next party queue by the Greenhouse. I do think it’s fantastic that the North East has been chosen as the location for the UK’s first ever interactive Peppa Pig Experience but do also understand the cost will be prohibitive to many.  You can buy gift vouchers and this would make an excellent birthday treat for toddlers and pre-schoolers & make sure you sign up to their mailing list to hear about special offers.  It was £34 for our 2 hour session with 2 adults and 1 child and I do think it was worth it if you're visiting with die-hard Peppa fans. The theming really makes it & Peggy had a fab time. However if your kids aren't big fans, I would say you're probably better off choosing another day out.     Need to Know: Current standard Entry is from £15 per child / £9.50 per adult / Under 1s and Carers Go Free. There is a £2.50 service fee per order. They recommend setting aside 1hr 45mins, we were in there for 2 hours. If your kids are the kind who speed through activities, you will likely spend less time there .  There’s a pushchair store, toilets and refreshment kiosk on site. Suitable for wheelchairs. Relaxed sessions available.  Find out more and book: https://www.peppapigsurpriseparty.co.uk/
