@kirinyaga_wellness: Until May 2027, I will not be gardening. I will only water, and I haven’t yet figured out whether I’m going to maintain her or just let her exist. I really need this time to rest, reflect, and be inspired for 2027. I have put so much into this garden from 14 hour days, to working through injuries, and spending money I shouldn’t be spending on my best friend, the garden. Even with the help from my husband, family, and friends, I am exhausted. I never thought I would want a break from gardening because it has been my therapy for the past 11 years, but it is time, and I welcome the sabbath with open arms. Please share below any other cultures/religions/traditions that practice working with the land and letting her rest.
