I definitely feel like Jinx and Isha might’ve worked better if their relationship (and all of season two bruh) were written by the season one writers. it was just so poorly mishandled that it ended up being the “give them a daughter and fix the crazy lady” trope. Like … develop their bond instead of making it all off-screen and trying to convince everyone that “ohh so motherly and wholesome aw look at them play with bugs 🥺🥺”. Have Jinx make mistakes. Have Isha ACTUALLY HAVE A PERSONALITY beyond “wow Jinx is so kewl 🥺🥺”. (idk if this might come across as rude or ableist in a way but I also feel like Isha being mute or her whole non-speaking thing was also just a lazy way to package not wanting to write a character as diversity or something). all of s2 just a big mess 😭

As someone who heavily struggled with BPD and was in and out of the hospital constantly a few years ago, but is now holding down a steady job and working on a masters degree. I still struggle yes. But I’m so much better than I was. I liked Jinx’s writing a lot from S1-S2. I think Isha was more like a sister, and a friend. A companion. Idk. I watched S1 Jinx when I was in residential treatment. I watched S2 Jinx when I finally decided I was going to finish my bachelors degree

her mental health issues weren't COMPLETELY written off in S2, but I agree that using Isha as an obvious plot device felt rushed and inadequately done. 😔 if arcane had more than 2 seasons, there definitely would have been less plot holes n shit. I was so disappointed with the ending

No one is saying that Isha magically healed Jinx, but it’s not crazy to say she helped her in a significant way. Humans are social creatures, and relationships do so much for us. Isha was the first real friend Jinx had since Vi “abandoned” her (Outside of Silco who was more of father figure). I would agree that season two is rushed, and Jinx’s change felt a little abrupt
