Last night I took my girls to church because the consecrated Eucharist was out. Mind you I just signed my girls up to there first communion class so we can learn proper Catholic terminology. So the gold thing she is talking about is the consecrated Eucharist. So, I took them so they can see it for the first time. Mind you, they didnt really want to go last night either. Anyways, my youngest Isabela (7 yrs old) asked me what to expect and I told her that “only about a handful of people go” and that “you just go and have a conversation with God.” I told her she “didn’t have to speak out loud” because God can hear our thoughts. A few minutes after kneeling down and praying, she began to cry. She was crying a very emotional cry. I am positive the few people that were in the church with us heard her sobbing. I didn’t stop her because I also felt that she was experiencing something because this was out of the ordinary. Meantime, my 9 year was completely confused as to why her sister was crying like this as well. I told her that when the Holy Spirit enters you, you get emotional. Once we exited the church, her big sis hugged her and said “once we get to the car you can cry and let it all out and tell is what happened” and she did 😭. I wish my phone would have captured it all.
