Honestly, this wasn't necessary. Looking at what Yvonne Nelson said, it has actually brought an important issue to light. Where is the movie industry now? Both Ghallywood and Kumawood are struggling. In simple terms, Yvonne was only trying to say that the same energy put into slaying and appearances should also be channelled into reviving and supporting the movie industry. Nowhere did she say people should stop dressing up or concentrate only on movies. Yvonne's outfit was beautiful, elegant, and not over the top. The reason it trended was because it had been ages since she attended such an event. Sometimes, we lack comprehension and end up misunderstanding the actual message being conveyed.
