@its.anya.lacey: I think one of the biggest problems with men in this generation is that so many of them are more focused on being perceived than actually becoming somebody. It’s not that they lack good qualities or ambition, it’s that everything feels performative and designed for an audience. Too many are chasing validation, trends, and labels instead of taking the time to figure out who they really are and what they truly stand for. Somewhere along the way, authenticity got replaced with image management, and confidence got replaced with the need for constant approval.
