The devs said this is the next main sequence game and im not sure we took them at their word enough. Im replaying 2018 and the more i play the more Faye is the mastermind. Atreus says she knows all the prophecies, she was leading the fight against Odin. The tree she has Kratos cut down breaks her own warding allowing Baldur in which starts the march to Ragnorok. I think Laufey won't just be a game in God of war but the third of the Norse trilogy and will not just shoehorn in connections with 2018 and rag but turn out to be inextricably its completion. I know alot of people will think im being fanciful... but replay with that in mind and there are so so many clear indications

I am so excited for this one. Not only do we get a more cohesive story that fills in the gaps but we get to learn more about Faye and see just how much of a beautiful warrior she was, as Kratos put it.
