I remember yearssss ago my poor son getting scammed by them in NJ where we lived. He was so brave he called the police and they were closed down. He was only 16 or 17 we were so proud of him. p.s he grew up to be an amazing husband and father 💓

as a gas station manager, this is getting old quick. IT'S NOT A SCAM. IT IS A CHEAP REPAIR FOR THE PUMP. IF THE FLAP WEARS OUT AND GOES DOWN TOO FAR, YOU CAN NOT SELECT A GRADE OF FUEL. THE SCREW IS MEANT TO KEEP THE FLAP FROM PASSING THE THRESHOLD. THERE IS LITERALLY NO WAY THAT THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE A SCAM. I've worked at a gas station for nearly 10 years now. I know most of the ins and outs of the pumps at this point.
