Get this - car is a total loss, super sporty high-end trim vehicle, minimum you can purchase it is used off the lot $25k to $30,000 . They wanted to offer us $14,000. 😳. After looking at the valuation report and supporting documents, I noticed an almost $8000 reduction due to branded title. After further research, I confirmed that there was no branded title whatsoever on the vehicle, and they admitted it was an error, and said they didn’t mean to put that on there and they removed it increasing my property damage claim by $8000. Most people don’t question this stuff, and they should! I also looked at their comparables, and they used vehicles from over 200 miles away, inland, where vehicles are typically $10-$15,000 cheaper! I did some research and turned in my own comparables, from within 75-100 mile radius and now I’m waiting on a new valuation report. We shall see…

But u do understand that the higher the amount they paid out the higher they will raise ur rate for ex if u was paying 200 now its gonna be raised to 500 for the nxt few yrs & u said it was a minor accident so tht $ they gave u now u would pay back even more in the future….
