yeah your not supposed to like him your supposed to root for him to be a better person but the goal of the show ain't to have people like him. its to have people reflect on themselves and take nothing for granted like how rudeus (an absolute creep) was able to reflect and grow from that and learn to value things he hated before i.e. his parents.

Mushoku tensei is an amazing series ppl have the right to choose what are non negotiables for their watching experience and Rudeus being at his most degenerate at the part of the story where it needs to.maintain audiences is understandable but its such an amazing show it gained such popularity in spite of him, in spite of Paul in spite of all the overally sexual content and thats what good series do

rudeus and the other characters in Mushoku are what ruined it. I watch part 1 and part 2 of season 1, thats as far as I got. there was genuinely no need for the characters to be as weird as they were, plus I just did not like the designs of any characters.

MT is supposed to be an unhinged story with a extremely flawed(morally) protagonist. I dont defend Rudeus’s actions one bit, but I do say that if somebody you know that is like Rudeus, I hope you wont abandon them and help them if they want to change.
