@aira_oki_nawa: 【Did Hang Tuah Visit Okinawa?🤔 The 600-Year-Old Mystery】 We may never know whether Hang Tuah actually stepped onto the shores of Ryukyu. But considering the frequent diplomatic missions and trade between Malacca and Ryukyu, it's hard not to imagine that the legendary admiral was there at least once🇲🇾♥️ #okinawa #ryukyu #melaka #History
Malacca is one of my favorite cities! I completely fell in love with it, and while I was living in Singapore, I made many weekend trips there. Learning about the historical connections between Ryukyu/Okinawa and Malacca makes me even more grateful for that experience! I hope I can visit there again🫶

actually there are evidence that Hang Tuah made a diplomacy visit to Ryukyu. Keris with 9 Lok was found Enkaku-ji Temple. Keris has multiple Lok eg 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13. Keris with 9 Lok indicates the symbolic of government to government relations. this is one of the proof that I can share with you. I know some will definitely argue with my sharing; there're books with evidence available that support my statement 😊

The Ryukyu Kingdom have great history, major independent trade hub,as a "bridge of nations" across East and Southeast Asia.i must say Ryukyu was the first in japan, might even first in East asia, socialized and traded with many foreign power.Malacca trade hub in south east asia, Ryukyu trade hub in East asia.having good relationship with different country, proves the great leadership by the Ryukyu Kings.

it had been recorded that the Laksamana from Melaka visited Ryukyu in 1480. In the records of the Portuguese colonial figure, Afonso de Albuquerque (through his book The Commentaries of the Great Afonso Dalboquerque published in 1557), Hang Tuah is described as a respected admiral, a skilled warrior, and highly knowledgeable. This record serves as important historical evidence supporting the existence of Hang Tuah outside the Malay oral tradition.
Here are the main details regarding Hang Tuah based on the record:
Age and Position During the Fall of Malacca (1511): Albuquerque stated that during the Portuguese attack on Malacca in August 1511, Laksamana Hang Tuah was still alive, residing in Singapore, and was 80 years old.

Historical records and physical evidence of Hang Tuah's visit to the Ryukyu Kingdom (now Okinawa, Japan) are documented in the government's official records known as the Rekidai Hoan. This 15th-century document records the presence of the Malacca Admiral, who delivered a diplomatic letter to the King of Ryukyu.

Thank you. that’s interesting. I wonder if there was a heroic warrior in Ryukyu. I didn’t think that Ryukyu was a warring kingdom, though.

whoa! fascinating the history of Okinawa and the big trade routes centuries ago! it is commonly said that the absence of evidence is not equal to evidence of absence, so Hang Tuah may well have visited Ryukyu

yes, Laksamana Hang Tuah serves as an important diplomat during the reign of the young Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah. I believe in the Epic of Hang Tuah, "negeri Cina" referred is actually the Ryukyu Kingdom.
