i hate how they leave out details like this in the anime. even in the battle tendency manga, when caesar and joseph are playing cards and accusing each other of cheating, caesar was smoking a cigarette while joseph shuffled the cards, and he tells him to put it out since it will smoke up the room! in the anime, caesar drinks coffee instead of smoking, so that little interaction never happens.
