180,000 sounds a lot but there are 104 games with 65,000 average tickets. So it’s equivalent to 101 games sold-out and 3 games worth of tickets to be sold.

USA is actually a massive soccer base now and it is rapidly becoming even more popular. I don’t think that’s why the stadiums are empty. I think it has to do with a lot of the political events happening right now as well as the ICE raids. On top of that, insane pricing for basic match ups. I’ve played soccer all of my life. I watch European and Mexican soccer every week and I planned on going to the wc for years, but the pricing is what makes me not want to.
