Apple is the only company I would trust with my data. I know they gather a lot of the same things as other companies like google but Apple at least will help me keep it local or properly anonymously use the data.

I’m happy about Apple stance and policy on our privacy across it entire ecosystem, along with AI running local on user Apple products. As for AI my worry is cost for tokens and over all cost of electricity just to process AI services and water needed to cool AI data centers.

I was furious when I first heard that Gemini is getting into iPhone. This is not yet available in EU and UK it seems. Your talk is the first I watch explaining what happened. I am still very sceptical and I doubt whether a few audits can prevent any wrongdoing. So Apple is risking a lot by guaranteeing Google will not use what data Google has access to inside Apple. Simplistically I have a picture of a Trojan Horse in my mind about this 🐴
