We are a large Romanian community that works and pays taxes to the Irish state, contributing to the country's economy. Virtually all of our income remains in Ireland through rent, utility bills, food, car insurance, fuel, and other expenses. Therefore, the majority of Romanians work and make a positive contribution to Irish society. Of course, there are some Romanians who rely on social welfare or take advantage of state benefits, but the vast majority of us are hardworking taxpayers.

During the Irish famine, many Irish men & women migrated abroad in search of better living conditions. They were welcomed, offered jobs, and contributed to the economies of these ctries. That generation never moved back to Ireland. No one complained about the new immigrants. It’s sickening listening to this lady saying Ireland doesn’t feel or look the same. Do u consider the contributions these immigrants bring to the local economy? If immigrants left tomorrow, will this remove the problems in society?😳😳😳

Romania is part of the European Union and Ireland has free movement with EU citizens and with the UK. All the people she complained about LEGALLY live in Ireland. Also I strongly assume that whatever social benefits the legal immigrants receive are also available to Irish citizens in a similar situation.
