You are absolutely wrong. A party or a defendant is entitled to a fair trial. If you have an unfair jury then the defendant has been denied his or her right to a fair trial. If a jury says in open court he or she cannot be fair to a defendant, then it would be improper to sit that juror.

I think a large amount of people don’t realize that both sides pick the jurors. So the defense had a say so in the jury not just the prosecution.
