@socratessworld1: Immigration Fact-Check 007 🇬🇧 Your visa says NRPF — but do you know what it actually restricts? You CANNOT claim Universal Credit, Housing Benefit, Child Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, or social housing. But you CAN still use the NHS, send your children to state school, and access Statutory Sick Pay. Deliberate breach is a criminal offence. Sources: Section 115 Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Paragraph 6 Immigration Rules, Skilled Worker guidance v19.0 (GOV.UK). Educational purposes only — not legal advice. How is council tax reduction a recourse to public fund! I was living in the house with a sister and we were charged council tax as a family and when she left I requested that a single occupier account should be considered for me because I now live alone and it was granted. I started paying less because I am alone. Does this mean that I have breached my visa?

My children have access to free sch meals and holidays vouchers for families with no recures to public fund while I was a student…. I and my wife are working now and I did paid for their sch meals but the sch have declined my payments statement the child where once qualified and stays so. My first is now in yr 4 but the council still sends holiday vouchers and sch meals tickets…. I’m worried. Should I keep letting my children eat at school? As I have since stopped using their holidays vouchers.
