@zoeys.life29: Zoey Update ❤️ This week Zoey started chemotherapy, and we are praising God that she has been tolerating it well so far. They have drained over 1,200 mL of fluid from the lung that had collapsed, which has helped her breathing. Yesterday, Zoey was stable enough to be moved from the PICU to the Hematology/Oncology floor. However, just two hours after arriving on the floor yesterday, her condition changed and her vitals became concerning enough that the medical team decided to move her back to the PICU for closer monitoring. Amanda has also been experiencing chest pains for quite some time. We encouraged her to get checked out while at the hospital. Thankfully, all of her testing came back clear. Praise the Lord! While answers are still limited, we are grateful there was nothing immediately concerning found. Our biggest prayer requests right now: • That Zoey would continue to tolerate chemotherapy well. • That her breathing would improve and she would be able to return to room air. • That the fluid around her lung would continue to decrease so the drain can be removed. • That wisdom would be given to the medical team as they care for her. • That Amanda would experience rest, peace, and relief from the chest pain she has been dealing with. • That sweet Phoebe would find a formula that works well for her while they are hospitalized, as Amanda’s milk supply has significantly decreased due to stress.
