Except all the people you meet irl already have enough friends and aren't looking for anyone

I'm not scared of rejection, but as an autistic person, socialising is so exhausting. It's literal work.

A lot of your opinions are based in your own personal experiences which is soooo…. Interesting?

the thing is that most people already have a circle and it's easier through apps to find actual friends who might not have a group of friends already. Most people are not looking for friends, so.

yeah no. we're lonely as it is and anything encouraging connections is, imo, a good idea. making friends can be hard, especially as you get older. i think allowing an app to make it a bit easier to form connections for those that have a hard time would be nice. granted, that's if it were better than dating apps which is doubtful.

ok but ppl already aren’t making friends at these random places in public? people make friends thru roommates, workplaces, school, not by approaching strangers at the gym

I make friends irl but I use app too! I’ve met 3 really good friends on there, you need to explore all ventures and opportunities and be abundant to all connections.

I couldn’t have met my BF without a dating app. We had zero crossover of our social circles and are about a hour away from each in a fairly large metro area. It wasn’t “lower risk” it was simply opening up options of someone we never would have crossed paths with.

I have met several of my current good friends on bumble BFF but it is definitely a double edged sword where you sometimes meet people who think it's like shopping for their perfect friend.

🚨 FOR TWO DAYS, RESCUERS THOUGHT A PERSON WAS TRAPPED… THEN THEY FOUND A DOG MAKING THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. 🐶🐱💔 For two straight days, rescuers kept hearing barking beneath the ruins of a collapsed home after an earthquake. Every bark gave them hope that someone was still alive under the debris. When they finally reached the source, they were stunned. Instead of a trapped person, they found a Golden Retriever lying in the dust, wrapped protectively around an injured cat. The dog wasn’t pinned down. It wasn’t trapped. It could have walked away at any moment. But it didn’t. According to the story shared widely online, the dog chose to stay beside the badly injured cat, shielding it from the cold, fear, and unstable rubble until help finally arrived. The pair were reportedly the only survivors found at that home. While dogs are known to form strong social bonds and sometimes protect other animals, the specific details of this story have spread mainly through social media posts and have not been independently verified by major news organizations. Whether every detail can be confirmed or not, one truth remains undeniable: animals are capable of remarkable loyalty and compassion. In moments when survival becomes the only instinct, some still choose to protect those they love. Sometimes, the greatest acts of courage don’t come from words—they come from simply refusing to leave someone’s side. ❤️ CTA: If this story touched your heart, leave a ❤️ for loyalty that never gives up, and share it with someone who believes animals have souls too. #DogLoyalty #AnimalHeroes #HeartwarmingStory #GoldenRetriever #CatAndDog
