I HATE how most people got on that radical republican talking point. Scientists already looked into it! That's why care plans for minors already exist and are done with medical supervision! and save lives! I had a chud unironically tell me they should wait until they're 18 to take puberty blockers.

"You're getting a vasectomy? You know that's permanent right." So are kids, dammit. It's always wild how people decide some life-changing actions are fine, and others aren't. Denying a child care that they need is just as bad as forcing a child into it. It's almost like the sort of decision that should involve consultation with experts, and not just politicians deciding "no, I don't think people should have access to this care ."

i was a cisgender child who developed far to early compared to my peers. i had painful periods and grew a chest i didnt know what to do with. puberty blockers probably wouldve saved me a lot of grief as well

Puberty blockers aren’t even life changing in the way they are thinking. they are completely reversible with very little side effects. Not having access is what is irreversible and causes trans kids undue mental distress

My kid’s gender expression flip flops a lot, they hit puberty and started getting major dysphoria. So we put them on puberty blockers. They’re feeling so much better. You cannot tell me that’s not health care.
