First, if Iran's military capability was gone, they wouldn't be keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed and hitting targets all over the Middle East. Second, oil companies don't want to go into Venezuela.Their infrastructure is a train wreck and the oil companies don't feel it's worth their while to put spend the money to getting it up and running. Not only that, oil companies don't want to create a surplus on the market that would drive the prices down. By the way, has anyone else noticed that nobody is talking about drugs coming out of Venezuela anymore? Because it was never about stopping the flow of drugs.
