Amen sister! I don’t even have enough money for myself, let alone a kid. I haven’t been able to leave my parents house CAUSE MY SALARY IS SHIT, and everything is fucking expensive, and honestly, life is so damn overrated. Why would I want to bring another person into this world when clearly it’s so shitty? And we’re not even talking about the possible mental issues that kid could have in their life. I myself deal with anxiety and depression and it’s the worst. So no, I’m not having kids

In my mum‘s era, the 1960s, they could afford to buy a house on my dad‘s average salary working for the County Council, my mum didn’t work, they didn’t have a lot of money but they could afford the house and the bills and a little holiday once a year in the caravan, and food. Everybody had the basics. Nowadays, we can’t even get that.
