@flovorfood: Buffalo Chicken Wrap 🌯 Ingredients: 1 lb Chicken breast, cut into small cubes 2 tbsp buffalo sauce 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 1/2 tsp Onion powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 1 1/2 tsp Cornstarch 1/2 tsp Salt 20ml Oil for sautéing Creamy buffalo dipping sauce: 1/4 cup Greek Yogurt 1/4 cup sour cream 1 tbsp buffalo sauce 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1/2 Lemon juice 1/4 tsp Black pepper Salt to taste Assembly: 2-3 large flour tortillas 1 cup romaine lettuce, finely shredded 1 tomato, de-seeded, finely diced 1 red onion, thinly sliced 1 cup, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, grated Method: Marinate & Coat: In a bowl, toss the chicken cubes with the buffalo sauce first. Then, sprinkle over the combined dry spices and cornstarch. Toss until the chicken is completely coated. The cornstarch will absorb the moisture. The High-Heat Sear: Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the chicken. Let the chicken sit undisturbed for 3 minutes. This allows the spices and cornstarch to form a crust. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cubes are charred on the edges and cooked through (75°C). Take the chicken out of the pan and let it rest for 2 minutes before putting it in the wrap. This ensures the juices stay inside the meat so the wrap doesn't get soggy. For sauce: Whisk all ingredients in a bowl until completely smooth. Place a large flour tortilla on a flat surface. Spread your shredded cheese in a rectangular shape in the center. Layer your shredded lettuce over the cheese. Pile your Buffalo chicken cubes on top of the lettuce. Add the thinly sliced onions and diced tomatoes. Drizzle sauce over the veggies. Bring the bottom edge up. Fold the left and right sides inward over the filling. Roll tightly. keeping your fingers tucked to pull the filling back as you roll. The Pan-Sear Finish Place the wrap into the pan over medium heat seam-side down first.
