Moleskins don’t like fountain pens. They bleed badly. Wish they could get better paper. I won’t use them.

i exclusively use fountain pens, on any paper, for writing and drawing. my sketchbook is moleskine, i have a moleskine journal and my diary journal is a Stalogy, they all have thin paper and bleed through and people always comment on how "badly" it bleeds through. But like, that's a VIBE, i loooove when it bleeds, i love how used it makes the notebooks feel and look, i dont need everything to feel neat, i want messy and authentic 🖤

can you please show us how bad the bleed through is? i have the kaweco in EF and i really want to buy the moleskine expanded but i dont want to spend money on a notebook that might not work

i use my leuchttrum1917 with my twsbi pen (ef) with pilot black ink and it pairs so nicely. This combo is so smooth.

I have always used a Moleskine Expanded and have had no problem with a Medium Esterbrook Estie. I absolutely love the extended and used for years!
