@sonya_maya: Humans “peacock” too 🦚 JUST DON’T DO IT LIKE JOHNNY BRAVO 🤯🤣 Just like peacocks use their colorful feathers to attract mates, humans often show off things that make them stand out - whether that’s fashion, humor, intelligence, talent, fitness, social status, or even a nice car. Evolutionary psychologists call these “signals” because they communicate something about us without us having to say it directly. The interesting part? Most of us are peacocking in some way without even realizing it… What’s your version of peacocking? 👀 #Psychology #DatingPsychology #HumanBehavior #EvolutionaryPsychology #Psychologyfacts
It has always confused me how in all of nature the males, never pursue or go after the females. But call out, sing, dance, or put on a display of attraction. And humans are like no. Males need to do it all and females shouldn't search out the natural males that follow nature.
