I didn’t realize how bad I had it while growing up. I assumed it was normal and everybody experienced it. I finally realized it wasn’t normal, and learned what a healthy family looked like from watching my best friends with their parents. It made me the man I am today though. Yes I gave my kids the things I could only dream about when I was their age…..but they’ve grown in to the most amazing young men and woman and I’m so proud of them.

so true my kids ride 5000 dollar bikes and I had a bike made of parts as a kid. but I loved what my dad gave me.

I was poor as a kid and I would see other kids with stuff that I wish I could have now that I'm a Grandpa and a father, I gave my son the most. I could that I could never have. And now that I have grandchildren I get them stuff. I wish I had I have fun doing it. They do not understand what I'm doing. They were never walked in my shoes, but I want them to know there's a lot of things out there in life that we cannot have But we can pray for god bless
