I treated myself to a full KFC meal today because it somehow fit into my calorie deficit. I failed every single restrictive diet I started... and now am 10 months into a calorie deficit and 10kgs down. THIS. WORKS.

Completely true! What counting calorie does, it make you realise your choices - it makes you question if the cookie worth it. ‘I have this cookie, but it sacrifices the yummy dinner I had planned’ so you know what, it’s not worth it. I Want to eat that cookie-but I have to do an hr walking to earn the calories, that’s doable, or ‘it’s not worth it’ Once you understand calories - you get it! And some days you do just eat the cookies! 😆

I’ve lost 25 pounds and counting since last year simply just cutting back portions while still eating everything I usually ate before the calorie deficit. I’ve made slight changes but I definitely still eat sugar, carbs, etc. lol idk who I’d be if I didn’t eat ice cream

I’ve lost the weight and gained it back a few times.. this time around I started a food log before I went into a deficit and it really put into perspective how much I was over doing it. Two weeks into my deficit and I’m doing much better finding a balance this time around!

Totally agree!! I lost over 45 pounds for the first time ever doing this and I love what I eat! If I had to only eat boring salads, that wouldn’t have ever happened.

this is literally what i’m doing atm. as long as i stay in a deficit, it works. losing weight takes the realisation that there are so many unnecessary calories that we consume over the day. it just takes a little control and the right mindset. ever since i started like a week ago, i realised how many times i would’ve overeaten if i hadn’t counted the calories. so what you’re saying is something i needed to hear 💪

I used phentermine to help me with the “food noise” and it actually worked because it made me realize that I just be eating!!!! So obviously I was eating because i was bored more than anything.

i try not to eat over 1000 calories a day. I still have snacks, I just watch serving size and only consume that amount. I only eat between 12-6. I only drink water as I don’t wanna drink my calories. I do have sips of soda sometimes tho. List 15 lbs in 80 days. My bf does the same. He lost 30 lbs in 80 days.
