American meals are large because we have a leftovers culture. There is no issue asking for a Togo box and packing up what you don’t eat and taking it home with you. You are never expected to finish your meal there unless you want to 😊

America has a very big meal sharing culture, as well as ordering with the intention of leftovers! It is not uncommon for family or close friends to get larger meals to share between each other. It allows for everyone to try more food that way :)

What you don't eat is they will box up and you can take with you to eat later at your hotel room reheating in the microwave. you can get a chief rice cooker for under twenty five dollars at the discount stors.
