@gordondrivingschool: 30 Days of Traffic Signs - Day 6 Bicycle Railroad Crossing Warning Sign This warning sign alerts bicyclists that railroad tracks cross the roadway at an angle. At these locations, bicycle tires can get caught in the rail gap, causing the rider to lose control and crash. To cross safely, bicyclists may need to move farther into the lane before crossing the tracks. One thing many drivers don’t realize is that bicyclists usually aren’t moving into the lane to slow traffic down. In many locations, the shoulder is too narrow, uneven, or covered in gravel to safely cross the tracks. Sometimes the safest option is to use more of the roadway. Have you ever seen a bicyclist move into the lane near railroad tracks and wondered why? #driversed #bicyclesafety #traintracks
They rather stay out of the roadway when possible? yeah no

Oh. I always drove straight through them on my bike. They were old tracks tho and they removed them from my usual route sometime in the last two years.
