With being able to import 180sx and Silvias, I honestly have no desire ever owning a 240sx. Their just wayyy overpriced early 2000s you could get a roller for less than $800 all day, unfortunately those days are long gone. I have a 370z only because it made more financial sense. All of those cars are at least 28 years old if not older, more than likely your gonna have to drop more money than just the purchase price to make it reliable.

6k for a 280zx it should be MINT. if you could diagnose the electrical issue in an hour or 2, why wouldnt you just go ahead and do that to sell the car more easily?

If the president of a club says it’s over priced than it is. I get parting out is more profitable but if you sell it while expect less. Just cause I can part out my Miata for +40k doesn’t mean it’s worth 40k

If its listed for $6k and not selling..... the price is too high. lol. its only worth what someone is willing to pay. Combined value of parts =/= to what something is worth. i part out super duty fords and other diesel trucks. a $2000 truck is worth 10-15k plus in parts. parting them out increases demand for nice ones eventually. but bills gotta be paid, nobody wants to buy it, ill chop it up. this isnt a museum.
