I’ve been thinking about you. My husband and I were so involved in following your story, and I am part of the Thorntons team. We were so sad when he was found. Sadly, my husband died shortly after, leaving our 19 yo daughter and me. I’m grieving with you.

Wendy, we came here to support you. Please keep talking about your Dad as it honors him and I for one am not less interested in the story now that there is closure. My Dad passed in 2009 and I miss him and think about him - actually getting a tattoo as a reminder of him. Mark the milestones, cry over them and keep celebrating the lovely human that he clearly was.

It felt much longer. I can’t believe it’s been 3 months. Time will forever feel weird. At 13 years this July for my dad. TIME IS SO STRANGE! Please don’t ever apologize for talking about your dad. Ever. Those who would be bothered by it can just go away. It’s ok. I’m sorry you are having a hard time. It’s odd how we just jump into these phases of our lives. Times we would have thought would destroy us, we are strong. You are also, very captivating and a great story teller. That’s why we are here. Stop with the Smurf candy! Such a sign. Love this. Sorry I’m commenting as I’m listening. haha. Hugs to you. Life can be hard. I’m glad your dad is still hanging around sending you signs❤️🌻

Being shocked is valid. I lost my mom and granny two years ago, four months apart; both from cancers. Please, no condolences. I appreciate it, it just doesn't help my own grieving. By the time my mom ended up in the ICU, we were processing Granny's passing and then having to switch to being an advocate for my mom, who couldn't advocate for herself was like day and night. Everybody grieves in their own way too, I didn't start actually recovering from losing my mom until six months ago where I felt safe and stable enough to process the emotions and things that were left unresolved. I saw your videos about your dad around the same time and have been following you ever since. I wish you all the best in yours and your family's journeys as well.

I feel connected to you, my Dad started getting really sick right around when your Dad went missing. Even though the situations were so different, the outcome was the same. Keep posting!!!

Thank you for sharing, you can always talk about your dad, I remember when my mother in law passed all the kids got there share of money, and a that time we needed a new car and when we were signing the paperwork on top of the desk was a display of m+ m candies and my mother in law would always have them at her front door table when you walked in the house.

I'm so happy to see you on my fyp! Time is definitely a weird thing, especially when it comes to grief! It sounds like your brain prepared itself for grieving, just in case, while you were still searching for him.
